True!

They also rebagged and re-shrinkwrapped top hid them putting broken cables back on shelf.

Often pins were shorted or broken on ends of cables and they clearly kept reselling them, thinking people would buy them and not return them.

The worst crime? Motherboards (clearly returned prior if examined closely), and HARD DRIVES (greasy fingerprints on matte paint finish, clearly returned prior)

They would just take returns that were broken and put them back in the box

100% true.

I guess the upshot was they never looked at any returns. You could buy a mobo and break it trying to an install by shorting it to the case or whatever, and they would take it back. Still, I never bought anything there unless in a pinch. Which means it is nice that it existed. RIP
