I've come to this conclusion as well. It's like a necessary evil. If you aren't corrupt, your corrupt competition will have an advantage and Destroy you. Same with organised religion. If any Christian Church truly followed Jesus's teachings to the letter, love your enemies, turn the other cheek etc. They wouldn't stand a chance.
