I saw that in stores today that were cleaned out now that roads are drivable and power is restored. You see the last products left that nobody wants, the most unpopular things. COVID brought this out last year as well.
Good chance you will continue to see it in stores because its not about running a store. Its about control.
Exactly. We went in search of pancake mix and found none. We noticed the entire shelf of Aunt J and other similar brands were gone. The "healthy" mixes were only thing left. Asked an employee what's up? She said the pancake mix, cookies, ice cream were gone first day.
You dont need pancake mix to make pancakes. use ingredients.
I think partly people aren't willing to pay $1 more per box because they aren't stocking up out of desperation, just economy.
