Sounds like that should be the law everywhere

[–] 9 pts

Came to post the same. It's almost unbelievable that we've let our gob'ment just take stuff.

[–] [deleted] 4 pts

Well they've been doing it through taxation long before then. It showed the people in power that they can do pretty much anything and get away with it.

Hello all other states,...take note!! Great job AZ!!!

[–] 2 pts

Indeed, Arizona should be lauded for this major accomplishment!

Now if they would just pass a bill legalizing shoot to kill on site for illegal alien bean nigger invaders infiltrating our borders, they’d be doing Gods work in total.

When you derail the subject into bullshit you are no better than Twitter people.

Twitter: we shouldn't bomb Syria

Reply: you didn't even mention I wanna chop my dick off! Silence is violence!

Poal: it's illegal for the government to take your stuff.

You: you didn't even mention I should be able to kill people whenever I want! SILENCE IS VIOLENCE!

My points stand alone, I don’t agree with your logic and small mindedness.

It is absolutely commendable what Arizona did here. That is my first point and it stands on its merits.

Also, note to Arizona, I want to secure our southern border against hordes of millions of invading feral bean niggers. This is my second point and it stands on its merits as well.

I did not tie the two together, you did, which is called affirming a disjunct, a propositional fallacy of logic. It is because of this I am downvoating you.

they cant be that crazy, can they? surely they are just lying. right?

It sounds nice.

Local PDs will "partner" with Federal agencies, Feds will do the forfeiting and slide 75% of the take back to to the locals. Watch and see.

now get rid of plea bargains and much of the corruption will evaporate overnight.

[–] 3 pts

So, if they want your property, you are now seen as a criminal? What could go wrong?

[–] [deleted] 8 pts

What kind of small brained take is this? If they want your property they have to put you through due process where before they could just take it under suspicion of crimes.

[–] 1 pt

I smell war-on-drugs-style of bullshit laws following to pair it with this.

Imminent domain is understandable. Taking your property to give to another private entity for tax revenue purposes should be outlawed.

*Eminent

Taking your property to give to another private entity for tax revenue purposes should be outlawed.

And eminent domain has been used for that exact purpose, approved by our wonderful overlords on the Supreme Court.

Sorry JYT link.

and then like magic, criminal convictions everywhere.

I doubt it. The worst stories I read about asset forfeiture were things like, grandson sell a quarter pound of pot on grandmas front porch. The police seize grandmas house. Grandma never was convicted or even charged with the crime.

[–] 0 pt

What about the stories like the guy who used his own equipment to divert water running the a ditch on his own property to avoid flooding his own house and then comes the government with eminent domain and destroy him with fines and endless lawyer fees trying to battle it in court until he caved and surrenders his land. Maybe I’m confusing the eminent domain part but I know this stuff happens. I’ve seen things like this, personally.

[–] 0 pt

I dont think fines count as imminent domain. Usually with water rights theyll tell you to fix something and if you don't they start adding fines and eventually they will take your house.

I've got a better one. A dude with a sought after location freehold property/ life style farm has an intrusion of 'shadowy figures' accessing his property, lo and behold a drug enforcement helicopter takes surveillance photos of what appear to be a 'few pots of cannibus plants' hidden in this trees, after disposing of these several times, a drug raid finds the remains of the pots n plant material , charge him and then seize the entire farm under asset forfeiture - which iirc is then sold at police auction to a member of the city council who had previously enquired about purchasing the block but was told by the original owner to jack off not for sale....

Puts the road pirate's confiscating peoples cash (just as bad) from the side of the road into a little perspective.

[–] 1 pt

Yea i heard one of the road pirates jacking a guy for 15k he was gonna use to get a new freezer for his restaurant

Sounds like another pointless law that shouldn't have to even exist. Glad AZ passed it but that type of law only exist in clown world.

It's a start. The feds don't have to follow it though.

[–] 3 pts

Do like MI then and set up laws to start arresting feds.

[–] 1 pt

arresting feds

DC bails them out with MIs tax money. its better to give people legal authority to shoot the feds right where and when they committed the crime.

[–] 1 pt

Fuck yes! That's a victory!

[–] 1 pt

Still has to get signed, but I'm guessing they can override any veto with unanimous support.

[–] 1 pt

Not wearing a mask,! felony!

Is it any wonder that something we consider a “victory” is happening at the same time that the entire media beast is focused on declaring most Americans “domestic terrorists”. Do we really think they’re gonna hand us a victory at any level? With the impeachment sham being the precedent they need to adjudicate the population with the stroke of a pen, now they will have the legal backing to forcefully take our land and establish the new socialist state they have been dreaming of. Did we completely forget about agenda 21/2030? Mission creep, etc.. if this is really a victory, what is the prize? We have lost. And everything moving forward will only serve to further the agenda.
