Wasn't there some mongol execution method where they'd tie a guys' ankles to two trees they'd bent over, then release the trees. The force of the trees springing back to vertical would rip them in half.

As much as revenge fantasies are fun, I don't think they're healthy. If someone has to be killed it would be better to do it in a clean manner, then dispose of their body without tomb or monument.
Even then I'd be willing to settle for letting them live (minus their hoards of wealth) if they come clean about everything they did over their time in power. Redpilling their former supporters would be much more valuable than eliminating them.
