If you look at prices at your local supermarkets you'll seem them going up. Especially on meat products because the cost of the feed is now going up thanks to China loosing their entire corn crop and their rice and grain crops were seriously damaged.

Check the labels. A good amount of food is being brought up from Mexico and further south. At least US corn and wheat farmers will make some money this year.

If there are certain vegetables you like and you're able to consider planting a garden. A good amount of people got into that last year.

Yeah, I got into gardening last year as well. Growing everything in the same plot with the same fertilizer led to the tomatoes doing great but the cucumbers suffered and there were tons of little aphid bugs everywhere. It's tricky gardening, but very rewarding and tasty.
