So did I. I got out a while back because the place just sucked shit.
I'd rather make less money and pay less to live. Right now I'm living in a cleaner, safer, less niggery area and making more money. It's hard to make the break at first but it's gotten so much worse than when I lived there. I'm so glad I left.

I went into the City earlier this month and nearly every single person on the street was homeless. Not just in the Tenderloin either. It was everywhere. It's like seeing an end of times movie, or something.

It was almost that bad when I was there. I came from the east coast and remember NYC from the seventies. SF is far worse now.
