Agree. I have had a multitude of antidepressant medications. Some work somewhat. Some severely worsen your condition. All of them have severe side effects. Fluoxetine was the worst. I am highly sensitive to medications, but even at half the normal dosage it catapulted me into a manic episode, similar to being on 5 redbulls constantly. Then it catapulted me into suicidal depression. My advice: never do SSRIs. They can have permanent erectile dysfunction as a side effect. The only antidepressants I have had a positive experience with are mirtazapine, an atypical SSRI, and bupropion.
The best antidepressant is indee psychedelics. LSD is good, but I have had the most profound and noticable effect with shrooms (psilocybin). After the trip, regardless of whether it was euphoric or dysphoric, the brain fog and fatigue lifts like a veil, literally. No other way to describe it. A single shroom trip has me good for months. I usually dose between 4g and 10g of dried shrooms, but this dose is too high for most people.
I'm curious about your experiences with psilocybin.
