In terms of *actual, practical liberty* to simply break loose and go to some other country, I’d argue it’s a much more reckless choice for a White American dad to make, than some Arab third-worlder. *They’re all coming here for a reason* - they’re basically guaranteed room-and-board on our dime. There’s nowhere for American Dad to take his wife and kids to, where that’s the case. People may argue we have better ability to amass disposable income to do such a thing as American citizens, but I’m pretty sure tax-brackets cut that right down, unless you’re *extremely* wealthy. I’d love to move to, say, the Russian Far East. If I was some single guy, I’d probably up and do it. But it’d be an extremely difficult thing to subject my family to, unless Russia decided to do for us, what the US does for third-worlders.
