This is total insanity: 1. He was already out of office. Not the time to try & impeach, which is probably why the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court wanted no part of this. 2. Nothing he did meets the legal definition of incitement. If you want to convict someone, find a charge that will stick. 3. The shameful thing is that so many people voted to convict, not acquit. You can't just be led by your emotions. This is LAW, not a therapy session where we all discuss our feelings. You can't convict someone of being a meanie you don't like. You actually do need lots of evidence. They are such stupid babies. I don't like Trump. He is very canny, he made the exact promises that forgotten White working class Americans wanted to hear. Then he didn't deliver on them, he let Jared Kushner direct him too much (who gives a flaming fuck where the embassy is in Israel?). But this is a dude who knows how to get away with shit. He is in no way stupid enough to openly incite a mob. They were never going to convict him. This whole thing was a waste of time & money.
