He got Giant tax breaks to build a distribution center in a town near me. They were over joyed at the 1000 jobs they promised, at just above minimum wage. You can't afford to rent an apartment with in 10 miles of the new disti-center at minimum wage, let alone buy a house and pay the taxes. The idiots in the media that said it was a great idea when the government was proposing it, are now complaining that they aren't going to pay the people (amazon slaves) enough to live on, the story never changed. Or government officials got their kick-backs, the unions that built the place got their big bucks, the slaves that will work there got a 24/7 night-mere, and the people that live there and pay taxes will get a constant flow of 18 wheelers and diesel fumes.
