The mental weight for people who are paying attention is far greater than the weight for people who are massively ignorant. If all somebody planned to do with their life is smoke weed and watch internet videos, such a person probably wouldn't even notice the lockdown. So unfortunately such suicides are thinning out the herds of people who give a shit about the future.
