Click bait. He threads the hair extensions on with string and then he knots the string and puts a tiny amount of glue on the knot NOT THE HAIR.
I do the same thing for beading. Makes sure your knot doesn't come undone. Purposefully misleading title for the sensationalism.
Do you find it worth it to tie a knot after every bead?
I've only done that when stringing pearls. I usually just use small beads in between bigger ones to break up a design when doing jewelry. When knotting between beads like with pearls the trick is to use a small pointed tool (looks like a tiny ice pick or a nail on a wood handle), slide the tip into the knot and position it exactly where you want it before pulling tight. When I tried to just tie them by hand and tighten the cord it ended up looking wonky because you can't get the knot in the precise distance between the pearls.
