Good tip! I have bought pearl necklaces that aren't tied after each pearl and was threading a long string of plastic beads and someone else was doing the same but tying knots after each bead and I thought it was excessive effort, even if it will be handled by children mine would only ever be supervised so not worried about it breaking and being a choking hazard.
