Not a mystery, the same measures taken for covid would work on just about every other kind of virus or bacteria.
Do some research on infection rates, if you genuinely belong on poal you should understand population rates and white genocide so just use that understanding to help wrap your noggin around rate of spread and rate of infection.
R0 below 1 means it isn't reproducing enough to maintain its population that's why even though most vaccines are only about 80% effective a disease can be wiped out 100% in a given population.
