I think about the careers my parents had versus mine. Things like 20+ years at the same company, pensions and good 401k.

I never spent more the 3 years at a company, 401ks were always "on hold" until you get a year in, and getting a good raise meant jumping ship repeatedly. Once Aetna just up and pulled out, leaving the employees with no health insurance too.

Maybe if I had put gorilla glue in my hair I could have sued and gotten a million dollars.

I am at almost the highest level I could be (Director of Nursing), yet I have to live a more frugal lifestyle than my parents, who had one income, but only 8th grade education. Yet they still refuse to acknowledge any of it, while demanding even more of our money.

Mine don't demand money, they are both getting about $4k a month in pension+ss. Wish I could forward to that.

At the end of an economic cycle risk goes thru the roof. Especially young men who see it almost less risky to buy $10k of call options rather than say ladder CDs.

We are seeing twice the relative volume of options being purchased than what happened before the crash of 1929.

So it's coming.

Sad thing is, if we had access to the hidden tech, it would create an economic boom to last 200 years. Building a moon base and colonizing.

Of course that boom would send whites to space and leave the subhumans to fight over resources.

Anyways, it's a planned demolition.

Literally anything will send the economy into a terminal crash, including simply collecting taxes or lifting the rent moratorium.

So yeah...

I don't play the market anymore, I sold some property and would use the money for gold/silver, but I feel at this point I need something like an anonymous lockbox or a secret location to put it.

Basically "I lost my guns in a boating accident" but for my savings.
