I have made a LOT of money investing, I have Lost a LOT of money. Some years I have done well, others not so well. What this craze (and it happens ever 20 years it seems) has created, and its worse than last time. Easy to Fleece people.
Someone introduced me to Robinhood a couple years back. The first thing I did was read the reviews. It came back as shit, and I had questions when they said they would sell you Portions of a Share. Can't Afford one share of Tesla? But you wanna be a playa? Buy 1/32 of the share. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT? That inst investing. Fucking start small. Work your way up.

Any advice on where to start with investing?
S&P 500 decade over decade does well.
Start with things you know. My first stocks was AMD because in the early 90's I was "That Kid" that loved computers. Being a customer may give you an inside look at a company that others will never know. Also look for stocks that pay dividends. Even if they are higher on your purchase realm, they are paying you back. If you enjoy it, there's lot to be learned online. Good for you for starting this.
Have fun. If you just give it some time and energy, you should do fine.
