Pickeled has it spot on. The Roman catholic church is the Beast the bible refers to.
This old man explains it https://youtu.be/89O_AMwviug
I've been binging on him. I came to the conclusion the Vatican was the scarlet woman before I heard of Veith. He's a smart man. I disagree with him on a few finer details of certain things but think he's generally spot on with his analysis of the Catholic church and Revelation.
Hating the Church is pretty much all you guys can agree on. What is clear is that you don't have any theology of your own. many such cases.
You've never heard of 7th Day Adventist, Messianic Judaism, or any of the other protestant 7th Day faiths. Go do a search.
As for agreement, we aren't lemmings walking in lock-step making and magnifying the errors of the past on the excuse of tradition. Every faith errs in its understanding of its holy books. That is why there are so many different denominations. The key to a good denomination is that it accepts criticism, consistently goes back to its source material, re-evaluates itself to see if it measures up AND if its understanding is correct, engages in vigorous debate on the matters in the source material, and listens to its people, never shutting out those who argue in good faith. That said, every faith has a few basics ALL its people should agree on.
All Christians should (really must) agree on a few basic things:
God is the only God, the Living God, the Most High God.
Christ is his only begotten Son and in whom God is well pleased.
Salvation is only through accepting the gift of the blood of Christ to wash away our sins.
Accepting the blood of Christ requires repentance and working to avoid sinning.
The 10 Commandments are the basis of God's law.
Keeping the Sabbath is essential to keeping God's law.
Different sects can disagree on many things but the above are things we must all agree on.
By the way, I fully expect when the Three Angels begin blaring their messages (Revelation 14:6-9) that a lot of Catholics are going to convert on the spot. Frankly, at that point I expect all who truly follow Christ will see their own failings in the Gospel of the Three Angels and to repent. I don't think Sunday worshipers are going to Hell unless they keep it up after they've been reasonably exposed to the truth.
As I noted earlier, Catholics fall short on many points and, as a matter of doctrine, engage in rituals that contradict the Bible. They do this A LOT and hear no criticism of it. You now have a pope who talks about acceptance of civil unions for homosexuals when the Bible is very clear on that matter. You need to think about whether you believe in the Holy Bible and the inspired word of God or if you believe in the papacy and the Catholic church. The two bear only a passing resemblance to each other and are diverging more and more every day.
I disregard all old people. They’re stupid and old
Unless, of course they send photos of there junk right?
