Mr. Caniglia was arguing with his wife and melodramatically put an unloaded gun on the table and said “shoot me now and get it over with.” His wife called a non-emergency number for the police who arrived shortly thereafter.

So a wife cannot be forced to testify against her husband, but if she wants to then the husband has no recourse?

Your recourse is to get rid of her and tell her exactly why.
She went outside of your marriage to gather a force of other men and use their power against her husband.
Now she can ask one of those other men to marry her, because you have no use for a bitch who will use state enforcers against you.
