I just read this article to my wife and her father. Basically told them what it's admitting. They both blew me off.
We need communism in this country right fucking now. The suffering needs to start ASAP. I'm soo fucking tired of being surrounded by apathetic, uncaring and ignorant sheep its starting to really get under my skin. At this fucking point in time these people need to have a glimpse into the abyss which we call communism so they understand and start to reject it.

I know exactly what I'm wishing for. The vast majority of people will stay apathetic till the monster is knocking on their door.
communist survivor here, by then people will be totally enslaved by the communist system. when they get hold of a country they will crush any opposition with fierceness and will make the populace to betray each other via propaganda and food and economic scarcity.
i still have family members that are still hardcore communists even after many decades of abuse and repression and lack of essentials.
yes by then it will be too late for your family members and chances are that they will turn on you. =/
Well, so China has free enterprise. Businesses are privately owned. But ultimately all businesses are subject to the state, and there is a great deal of crony capitalism going on. (Not that there isn't in the US, nor are our businesses insulated from the whims of, for instance, the CIA). But I would say China has more inequality than the US. China's poor are quite poor compared to our "97% who own a refrigerator".
I guess China has a nominal 1 party state instead of a nominal 2 party state that's actually a 1 party state. The more I try to nail down differences the more I'm struggling to find them. I think in the US our rights are better preserved, for sure. I own guns. I can say whatever I want on the Internet without the government coming to get me so far, and there's no Great Firewall blocking poal from my computer.

this is true but that is until the party says no more. right now the system is working for them because the western banking cartel is supplying credit and know how to the communists there but once the party sniff any hints of rebellion by the new middle class they will not hesitate to close their doors again.

again, mostly true but we still have some freedoms left. the chinese citizen dont have access to weaponry, you still legally are able to do so here in the states though that door may be closing soon
you can still be able to move freely within the federal states. chinese doesnt enjoy much of this.
the CCP can order the chinese to do anything and they HAVE TO OBEY
we are not at this point right now.
there are still differences like that though you are correct the lines are blurring with each passing day and think this is by design since our future will be modeled after the chinese model with social credit and hardcore party rule for all.

there are people here that say that they dont mind authoritarian rule as long is the right kind. people wishing this have NO FUCKING IDEA what is to live under a dictatorship.
i'm amazed that people that have enjoyed 200 plus years of republican government would trade it with a jackboot in to their heads...
oh i know the fantasy, they think that they will somehow either rule in it or be spared by it or some shit
