I live where it's regularly -45

My life wasn't a video game either. I've seen people get shot in the back of the head. I've seen people get stabbed dozens of times.

Headshot, mostly gore. I would expect more blood from chest shots though.

I mostly agree with your assessment of how many times they were shot. I think the woman took a limb shot at first. Buddy looks like he took a diaphrahm or lung shot. I assume that was his agonal breathing.

A reasonable assessment. All we can do right now is just armchair analyze this grainy, dark footage and compare it to other footage (or actual shootings) we've seen.

There was this self-defense YouTube channel, IDR the name of it, but they would break down shooting videos. He had a pair of concepts called the "FIBS" factor and "FIBSA" factor- the "Fuck, I've been SHOT!" and "Fuck, I'm being shot AT!"

Every individual will have different FIBS/FIBSA reactions based on countless variables... however, most of the "FIBS" incidents I've watched where the person reacts the way the male victim in this video did... that first shot he was struck with might've been fatal. He reacts by spinning faster than I've ever seen a person spin, and then stumbles what... about 15 feet before going down? The agonal breathing didn't begin until after the shooter came up and shot him again (with the pistol).

The shooting of the woman was "interesting" in a morbid way. She was shot, went down, continued to challenge her attacker, and then he tried to execute her with what, 3 shots? He missed at least one. I think one of them hit the woman in the cheek, because you see her hair puff out, and when she's trying to speak/sit up she is spitting up a lot of blood.

This footage is a fascinating one, because it shows the stark contrast between the reality of a shooting and what we see on TV/movies/video games. Yes, most people will miss with a pistol when 7 yards away from their man-sized target. They'll even miss many shots when trying to execute a prone, dying target.

Yea I saw all that shit too and was thinking about writing about it but I wrote a lot of comments last night. The way the dude starts yelling I've been shot shows he knows it's urgent. The woman just cries out in pain and can't keep her mouth shut.

I think you're talking about ASP Active Self Protection. First time I understood what he meant by FIBS though.

I played a lot of airsoft. My favourite playstyle was pistol ninja. I think a lot of people probably barely aim when they're losing their mind like this guy. If you use your tools a lot you can ace targets hip firing with a pistol or blind firing at a dead run. But I also wouldn't put it past the guy to just want to blow her cunty witchy face half off and then kick the mess. He wasn't exactly urgent about killing them.

Yeah Active Self Protection, that's the channel. Pretty good breakdowns, but eventually it seemed like the channel was more concerned with shilling their products rather than breaking down the shootings/fights/robberies.

But yeah the couple never really displayed any kind of "FIBSA" behavior we see typically. They stood erect, not moving, taunting the shooter as he was taking his first 3 missed shots. Did the woman pull some kind of weapon? Watch her right hand as the shooter opens fire. It looks like she has a small black object in her hand, it could be a little pistol, and she is sort of brandishing it one-handed... maybe it was just her phone, too hard to tell.

I just think it's really odd when people are so eager to challenge someone like this. Usually, when someone is eager to fight you, it's because they know they have something on you: strength/fighting skill, initiative, or a concealed weapon. Is this why the wife was talking so much shit, because she thought she could use the little gun she had? Or did the couple think they could just beat the guy with shovels?

But here... the dead morons were acting all confident like they could engage in a fight, even after they saw the guy draw down on them. This is the Dunning-Kreuger Effect in action, I think. The shooter was confident in engaging these idiots, because he knew he had his pistol and rifle. The morons were confident because... they are dumb as fuck.

They could probably be alive right now if they just spoke a little differently while they were at gunpoint. Instead of further challenging the guy, they could've become completely passive and tried to talk him down. Their only other options were "rush him" or "run away", and running away from someone who has you at gunpoint in the open street is tantamount to suicide.
