There's no need to define a well-known term. And when normies and the press say "white nationalist" that's exactly what they mean. Not that I read a lot of CNN, but I've never seen an article referring to someone as a white nationalist except to claim they believe their nation should belong to their race, and that other races should be kicked out or genocided. It's often a hyperbolic claim, but that is the claim.
Let's look at some other "woke" bullshit, "hate speech."
It has no real definition. Shit, cciting the FBI crimestatistics database is "hate speech" to many. Pointing gays and pedophilia is another "hate speech."
Leaving "White Nationalist" undefined gives them room to play with.
