Because it is a convenient weapon for attacking White People in first-world countries.

Because it distracts from much bigger environmental problems that leftists are responsible for.

Why doesn't the right use environmentalism more to our advantage, though? It's amazing how many of our issues it works for. If consumerism in western nations is causing the destruction of the planet, then we can't afford welfare and immigration which increase the number of consumers and the amount they can consume. Rural working class men will be building most of the wind turbines and running most of the sustainable farms, so if you want them to agree to do all the work of solving climate change then you're going to have to give in on a lot of their demands on other issues, and rural working class men are the most right wing group in the country.

I might be one of very few people who is more right wing because I'm an environmentalist, but maybe the rest of you should give eco-Nazism a try.
