See, the problem here is that this kind of lawlessness has been going on for far too long without repercussion. Too many saw videos of cars stopping for rioters and necessarily became more emboldened to step in front. This really is the fault of the police for allowing this kind of thing to happen, but not the fault of that individual cop that ran them over.
A few years ago you only saw one person in front of a car, but now you see a crowd. I hope to see more crowds get hit by cars, and eventually they'll keep their stupid asses out of the streets.

Not so long ago even some of the dumbest kids knew to avoid getting run over. These people actively seek it out and then complain when it happens. I say weld some spikes to the car and let natural selection do its thing. With enough of that proper parenting might be a thing again.
