It's too complex because nothing adds up. You have whole counties where the problem is a small portion of the county, yet the same regs are being applied to the whole county.
It's sooooo fucking bad right now that the hospital I work for just turned the COVID floors back into normal operating floors. We only have 1 unit that does COVID now with about 10 beds.
10 beds?? What if you get 10 people then you'll be at 100% capacity hospital!!! Nooooo
Our hospital is almost always at capacity and has been that way for years. It's a combination of people coming in for shit they shouldn't, Dr's admitting shit they shouldn't because they're afraid of being sued and that hospital beds are like hotel beds in that empty ones don't make you money.
The hospital my wife works at is full to the gills but because they are working the fraud angle. The group's CEO is addicted to government handouts and is involved in every industry where there are government handouts.
