How cost effective are women's sports, anyway? They can't be as profitable as men's, of course. Wouldn't this discourage women from participating and just destroy it altogether?
believe or not, jr. high and high school sports are not about money. playing sports can teach kids a lot.
one of my favorite things to do way back when was to go watch adult softball games at the park at night. the concession stand, having a beer, the lights at night. it was great. where'd that go? but i digress.
sports gives girls an outlet besides fuckbook, talmudivision, and drama. hopefully no drama.
Totally agree, middle and high school sports for girls is a healthy, non degenerate thing. I loved doing track and field events at that age.
