You're welcome! Before viewing almost any link I tend to put them to archive and then view the archive, and also move images and other files to catbox before viewing or saving them. Glad to share them in case they might be useful to others.
In the Voat days, there was an account; derram, I think, that did lot of this automatically.
Beyond what I know, but it would be a welcome function for users.
That bot by was very appreciated and they are on here as well. Last I saw it being discussed it was entirely on AOU and poal admins to work on the site's API.
Derram: [poal] doesn't have a streaming endpoint like Voat. There's no way for me to get a listing of recent posts.
AOU said the API hasn't been worked on since 2019, but last month they said they would "work on it after the holidays."
Derram said they only need "Something that lists the last 25-50 submissions since last check." in order for the bot to work and that "everything else seems fine."

So it appears it is all on AOU with the API right now, or whoever does the site's API stuff like PMYB2 or who knows.
I don't know how long it has been worked on, but there seems to be a 'streaming' kind of feature on the experimental features option that causes new submissions to auto-populate to a person's screen. Not sure if that is related to the streaming endpoint that derram would need to exist in the API or not, or if that auto-populating feature only works on All>New or all subs.
So I think that might be getting worked on, or it might not be and that auto-populate experimental feature might be unrelated.
Thanks for the information. I see you've gotten much more info that I could have.
I hope it's something that can be xferred moving forward.
Anyway, cheers for doing the manual work...that's appreciated as well.
