I can't remember exactly where in the Bible it is sorry, I think John wrote it. It was even one of the daily readings recently. But basically God commands us to be "Children of Light", his new chosen people.

I wish I could read the bible in German, and I do know a lot of German already, but I'm working on Latin atm.
