Who is pulling all these disparate strings simultaneously?

[–] [deleted] 10 pts

very pissed off jews using the fact they have massive influence over ICANN to ban any and all websites they dont like. No more gun shop sites, no more poals, if anything theyll do the opposite, and have a list of "approved" sites that can be visited

This was all part of the plan when Obongo gave up ICANN to the UN.

The thread has been pulled and the web is about to collapse. Enjoy it while you can.
It was a good 30 year run.

RIP Public Internet. 1991 - 2021.

I hope we get a distributed mesh network in it's place

Go Daddy was always part of the cult.

They've shut people down for wrongspeak before. I'm surprised so many people do business without doing due diligence and researching who's farm they're penning themselves in on.

All the cult members are the biggest businesses that bought out the competition before they could compete. What they're doing is for the best anyway. Pushing the idiots into seeing what they did to themselves.

When companies screw people over or do vile things there is no clear archive of it. If anyone mentions it thats like tossing a mud brick into the sea.

There really needs to be a proper wiki to record this stuff. Problem is when people do make lists like that they get hidden on search engines and DDoSed to hell and back. If not worse.

It could be registered as a non profit with a name close to chamber of commerce so people would remember

Same as always is my guess. Whoever it is has cast their shadow across the internet for a long time and is able to kill or majorly harm several major sites of the same theme at once. All regardless of where in the world they are hosted. The only thing I can think of is a powerful group cooperating and with a funding of billions. Likely the oligarchy running the planet.

lol, just make your own domain registrar, goy.

Godaddy is one of the shittiest hosts I've dealt with.

There's hosts that charge 1/4th as much and give tons more features and have way faster hosting. And you don't have to deal with streetshitting faggots on tech support.

I've had good luck with 1and1, although the buyout from Ionos still has me a little nervous because buyouts usually mean worse service.

[–] 1 pt

I don't trust you for a second. 1and1 was the biggest fucking turd hosting. I literally fucking hate them. I use their support number for testing various shit with my phone. FUCK 1AND1 AND FUCK YOU FOR RECOMMENDING THAT SHITASS COMPANY.

Godaddy is shit but 1and1 is putrid rotten vegan diarrhea shit. These motherfuckers couldn't handle a single fucking wordpress instance. SLOW AS FUCK, DUMB AS FUCK SUPPORT. FUCK 1AND1.

1AND1 is the second worst company I have ever used. I've probably dealt with 50 hosting companies in my time. The #1 worst company I've ever used is Arvixe. I'm not even going to start listing how shit Arvixe is. 1and1 is gods compared to these fucking retards. They still don't have free ssl certificates on their outdated cpanel.

I'd recommend what I use, but its a little noname company and I don't want to narrow things down. I'll just say they have a cool caching backend and a cool CDN tie-in. I have over a dozen sites running on a shared plan that costs a little over $100 for 3 years and they are fast as fuck boiiiiii. And the support is top notch! If you're interested, I can send you a link via pm.

I know someone who used them to register a hostname for a custom obituary. They told me how they only planned to host the page for a year in memory, but then godaddy continually harassed them trying to upsell services for their "business", autorenewed the domain multiple times despite clearly having it configured not to and calling to cancel after each time. They did it so much they had to just cancel the order credit card. Really pissed them off given the context of the domain. They're stories scared me away from ever using them.

Oldfag here remembers when godaddy kicked wikileaks off.

In my opinion, over the next few years, the parallel society that has been mentioned as a larp will become a reality.

There are now a number of alternates to the main tech giants although individually they are nowhere near as big. You can see the huge growth in these alternate sites and that will only grow. If Trump moves to Gab, Minds, whatever the speed of migration will accelerate.

Bitchute has risen by 700 positions in the last three months Gab has halved its position index over the same period. Poal is up by almost 150,000 DuckDuckGo is steady at 154 Qwant is up about 400

Thankfully a lot of these alternates are not based in the USA. They have also realised that they cannot depend on infrastructure related to the big tech companies.

After pushing away a large percentage of a user base to alternate sites, anybody that wishes to engage will also need to have, at least, a parallel presence thereby insuring an indirect increase.

I still fondly remember slashdot. ( wow I still have an account with positive karma)

Bitchute kneels for kikes. Never forget that when it came time to choose between obedience to demands for censorship or a noble death they picked censorship.

I would hope that we could be kept updated with links..

We’ve been talking about how problematic it is when using centralized platforms. This is exactly the outcome we’re all intending to avoid by going to decentralized platforms, or building our own.

Go daddy went full woke....

[–] 3 pts

They've been suspicious for some time now. They used to be the place to go back when the web was young, now they're just another woke joke looking to go broke internet turd.

Alternate networking needed, not some military invented TOR shit they totally control.

We need strong encryption that will keep the NSA busy taking weeks decrypting Pepe memes!

Its all part of Bidenkikes plan to ban AR-15's. fuck every last jew and zionist for they are demons.

I think they also rely on AWS...
