Says in the article he was looking for someone to lease the land and his house to then work it. I'm sure he was asking an exorbitant amount to do so, and now he's crying to the newspaper because he's a dumb old fuck that was hoping to make money off of someone working his farm.
If he was just looking for a land manager, and workers he would have found them in a week. But he wants someone to pay him way too much, I can only imagine the lease agreement he was trying to get people to sign. Probably full of a bunch of stupid shit.
That was my take, he just wants too much and appears to have stupid stipulations on how it's run. Too bad for him, I guess.
Reminds me of my last boss that owned the land I was maintaining. Just working for that fuck hourly was like shoving bamboo sticks under my finger nails.
These old fucks have no comprehension of death, and are terrified of it, while simultaneously acting like they are immortal, and that every order comes directly from god to them.
I can't wait for that generation to finally die in the next 10-20 years. They really are an entitled bunch of worthless fucks, it gets even worse when they didn't have to really work for anything and bought land with inheritance money, or just inherited the land outright from family. They are an insufferable bunch that treat employees like slaves. Worked for too many of the types, luckily, most of them are brainwashed enough to be first in line for the vaccine.
