It was clear they were amateurs to a large extent, especially how easily they fell into the "appeasing all groups but whites" trap towards the end, and alienated the rest of their voterbase aware enough to care about these issues. More and more people are realizing elections give the illusion of choice, between dirt with a little bit of salt and nutrients in it vs dirt without it. It's still dirt, but the salt and nutrients make it better.
