It's not like the courts were doing anything about it anyway. So many people, even in places like this, still hang on to this idea that cops and the justice system exist to keep the people safe and to catch criminals. They have been serving different masters, with a very different agenda, for a long time. Calling them for any reason is more likely to make the situation worse rather than better. Unless you're trying to get yourself shot. They're great for that.

The whole system is a bad joke and needs to die. Along with those who enabled it.
