yeah, it's a super naive take on world affairs. the way nation states interact with each other is highly machiavellian and basically runs on the fuel of absolute self-interest. Nations that exist today are basically the largest 'bullies' and their selfishness/ruthlessness kept them alive. The only reason much smaller nations exist, (eg: Luxembourg) is because larger states allow them to (usually to be kicked around as useful pawns or puppets).

The idea that democracy, human rights, humanitarianism, or any other fee-fee feel good bullshit directs the actions of nations is a joke. Those are just wedge issues they use to get through the doors (of dumbass foreign countries, while manipulating public sentiment at home) so they can impose their political will and start grabbing at the reigns of power.

Globalists have already made their own nation state, it simply exists without the conventional border that everyone's used to-- but they still absolutely enjoy all the benefits of 'having a nation'.
