"We're all doing the best we can, and now this?" Lilly Walters of Orange County had a steady face-painting business when the pandemic hit, making it impossible - even unlawful - to do her job.

"There's no way I can paint you, I can't even get within an arm's length of you," Walters said.

You stupid bitch...that's the risk you took when you decided to do what you love for a full time job instead of as a weekend gig. When you are a face painter, that's the ultimate luxury "job" out there. That absolutely requires things to not change as drastically as they have, there's no way that she had her next month's schedule in place and payments made. I bet her face-painting business was nothing but birthday parties and some local events which were some of the earliest things axed and that was before Gruesome's Lockdown.

The EDD should go after the prisoners they've been sending money too first, but that's a separate matter.
