Yes, the isolation issue was/is/still is? a big problem that gets swept under the rug, so who knows what's actually in the gene sequence that's being used to test for COVID.
The reason I say it's an indicator is because it's an amplified test, where the sequence isn't just amplified once, but many times over. Each time you do that, it's just like any other amplified system - any noise present (or introduced) gets amplified with the signal you want. By the time you get to the signal level you want, you have all kinds of other information that is unwanted - aka, the noise. That's a problem in any amplified system, including mine of electronics.
If you have a positive PCR test, that means something got amplified that tripped the test. As you said, the sequence isn't well isolated, so the only way to be more sure (ugh) would be to do serum antibody tests. However, if you're not showing any signs, the worth of that is dubious unless you're at-risk anyway.
I do have a problem with everything being COVID, and it's interesting how "influenza" seems to have vanished.

that's my understanding too - it seems like if the sample were cycled <=15, pretty much nobody would test positive, but cycling >=35 times and pretty much everyone would test positive ... and apparently there is no standard (even between labs in the same country) and apparently some/many labs are running 35 cycles ... then there's contamination, positive results for ANY corona virus under certain conditions, etc.

yeah, and guess what those deaths will surely be attributed to?
i think many of us alert folks saw the 'new world order' (re-branded as 'the great reset') being implemented, but i don't think many at all, including myself, ever imagined things would, or even could move this fast
it's damn scary and although i see Trump as the lessor evil, he still seems to be very much on board with at least some of the overall agenda
The PCR test, from what I've read about it, can be a very fine line test. So...do you trust it? I don't, if it came back positive for me I'd want a second opinion instead of trusting it outright.
I can't really speak to Trump, he's...interesting. Very, very interesting. We'll see what happens.
"if someone is tested by PCR as positive when a threshold of 35 cycles or higher is used (as is the rule in most laboratories in Europe and the US), the probability that said person is infected is less than 3%, and the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%."
