Why not start your own sub here and post links to it in there, rather than in the news sub?
i was contacted about this yesterday by AOU - i don't get it - what is the issue with posting news in the /news sub?
You're posting links to a site you run, or are in other ways affiliated with. It's considered rude here. No one will stop you - you won't be banned for it - but not many of us will click the links you provide.
granted, i admin the site... for which i earn essentially nothing and there are no ads - yes, i ask for donations, and i got one, once, that won't cover hosting costs for even a year
i curate these news articles for my site usually at least once/day - it takes a lot of time to do that and all the links are to other sites, several/many of which people here read, so i really don't get the push-back - i've never had any issues anywhere else posting news in a /news sub/cat
