Judge Madden’s citation of the strong evidence against Dolloff’s claims of self-defense indicates that the likelihood of a conviction in a case is strong. He was formally charged with second-degree murder earlier this month, with Denver Police holding him in county jail.

All that being said, "slapped him in the face with an open hand" isn't really an argument in favor of "this is nothing, not even a real attack"....

Just by slapping your ear gently with the center of your palm, the hand slightly curved and fingers grouped, in order to form a small pocket of air on impact, you can already feel it's going to be a fucking tad devastating if given full force with your rear hand, like a hook

Whoever gets smashed like that will at a minimum hear a permanent ringing sound for the years to come. Not months, years.
