You're thinking of Gender Critical that's just people trying very hard to accomplish proof that goes against what scientific journals show a consensus on: that gender and sex are different concepts and that gender is better defined as two spectrums than any "number" of genders. Gender identity is one spectrum Gender expression is the other. (This is the thing you pearl-clutchers seem to get most upset about, even though drag queens and transvestites have been around for centuries.) There's a debate if agender is being in the middle of a spectrum between man/woman or is a rejection of the spectrum, but that's fairly weedy in and you'd have first accept that gender is a social construct that's usually the biggest step for old farts Gender dysphoria is when sex/birth gender don't match gender identity or when there's a conflict between body and gender identity. The cure is becoming transgender (if doing so is safe).
