Learn about why the war was really fought. It had nothing to do with slavery and even Lincoln himself insisted the best-case scenario was helping blacks return to where they came from.

Frankly, I can't see how any legal precedent could be drawn up wherein blacks would be forced to return, but we can make incentive programs or use social systems that convey the benefits of a homogeneous society.
Besides, this should never devolve to a legal discussion anyway, but I do think it's important to note how historical figures felt about the topic and adjacent topics.

Yes, I agree. I recall reading somewhere that lincoln was going to "preserve the union" even if it meant not freeing the slaves. In my own opinion(with little research to back it up), I think that he was indeed going to send them back, but was assasinated before he could do so.

As far as I know, no one really spoke much about Slavery until afterward. The North disallowed any trading being done by the South at the time and taxed all of their imports and/or exports (I'm not sure I remember which or if it was just both). The South was much richer and the North knew that unless they siphoned some of that wealth away, the South would inevitably outgrow them. Obviously, the South reminded them of how they both got to this position - by dumping tea in the harbor... because of egregious taxation.

It never had anything to do with slavery. That was merely an afterthought.

If you know of any good resources, please post. Ive wanted to learn more, and dig deeper, but havent gotten anywhere noteworthy. I think that this is one of the most important red pills for normies.
