When you're a cop you're no longer white or black or anything, you're blue first and foremost, and it's blue team against the outside world essentially. I mean, have you ever met someone telling you "I love cops"? Not much personally. It's either doesn't mind about cops or full "acab" Likewise I haven't met anyone who's friend with a cop without being a cop him/herself It's a parallel world, sort of, you can hardly trust anybody who isn't a cop because you know once they know you're a cop they are scared of telling anything that could qualify as "illegal"/put them at odds with the law, starting with smoking pot for instance
