In credit to the people who freed Capitol Hill, this list of demands is neither brief nor simplistic. This is no simple request to end police brutality. We demand that the City Council and the Mayor, whoever that may be, implement these policy changes for the cultural and historic advancement of the City of Seattle, and to ease the struggles of its people. This document is to represent the black voices who spoke in victory at the top of 12th & Pine after 9 days of peaceful protest while under constant nightly attack from the Seattle Police Department. These are words from that night, June 8th, 2020.

That's a whole lot of bullshit packed into one paragraph.
Seattle is doomed if they let this continue.
So if this is an autonomous zone, what would stop one of the residents forcibly incorporated into such from just picking off the revolutionaries with a gun? Not like there are any declared laws yet.
Nothing, I guess. They can't even stop the homeless people that they invited in from stealing all of the stockpiled food. How would they stop someone from killing off people?
That reminds me, time to freshen ammo stocks.
Those people probably don't have guns or ammo would be my guess.

I realized while doing some cleaning today that one of my fiercely liberal friends just relocated for work to Seattle with her new family. I don't talk to her that often anymore (former coworker), but I wonder in the next few years if any of her beliefs will change after being in a total liberal shithole compared to where she was in Texas.
Most of my fiercely liberal friends have cut off anyone in their lives who don't agree with them 100% so I don't have many left. My circle has shrunk accordingly.
I'd say it depends on how deep the conditioning is. She might think she's reached nirvana.
She's from South America originally and spent about 14 years growing up there, I think. There's probably good reason her family took the opportunity to emigrate to the States when they did. My understanding is that part of the liberal mental disorder is a dysfunctional/deformed amygdala. Her parents are fine folks - hardworking, small business owners. It's just poor luck that when their genes combined, it produced leftist mentalities.
The protesters will have to go back to work after their wives' boyfriend's run out of Newport's.
