Insulin prices should be capped for people with a BMI of below 30.

The hard thing for fat people is that (1) Insulin can be expensive and (2) They need more insulin per carb they eat, and (3) They eat a lot more carbs. Multiply all 3 of these together and a fat diabetic on insulin can spend 20x as much as a skinny diabetic on insulin.

I don' think traditional Medicare covers insulin unless you are not using an insulin pump.

There are many, many different Part D plans. Forcing Part D plans to cover things usually meets with resistance. When Part D was ordered to cover Freestyle Libre Continuous Glucose Meters (CGM) the one plan I am familiar with refused to do so until the first of the next year.
