A hard shutdown would not look good, that's a given, and tbh, that's not the right way to do it, imo However, and trainload of "congressional investigations" (remember, a couple of politics and celebs got fucked over by twitter's censorship crew https://duckduckgo.com/?q=politicians+banned+from+twitter&ia=web ) would certainly put some pressure over twitter, it would certainly not make it look good regarding stocks... Enough to make twitter go for a backdoor deal and bend the knee... When the .gov machine starts rolling on you.... It means you don't have enough friends, and that's not good when it comes to politics
