The animal feed store sells that kind of stuff way cheaper. 20kg bag of grains typically goes for $8-15. Buying direct from farmers is much cheaper, but they want to sell tons at a time.

Grains are not beans!

I also bought 2kg of mung beans and they are ick and too bitter but now I have to finish them :(

I divide them into portions of 83g dried, soaked overnight, add 100g of pasta or rice, a bottle of sauce and extra veg / spices = 2 dinners.

1kg = 12 servings of 83g / 2. Or is that 24 servings?

And sometimes meat from the freezer.
