It couldn't have anything to do with the storms and high winds that rolled through this week in the south, or the already stressed and antique power grid in the USA.

The chart shows an area that covers at least 4 planning grids, along with a wide swath of unplanned area, with multiple power generating companies within the area. The government can't reliably plan a road that runs 5 miles, assuming someone is planning a massive power grid takedown is out of the question.

Edit: Technically 5, Louisiana and Arkansas are in the MISO, with the rest being in the greater Eastern Interconnect.

Yep. Reporting the news as it happens

Why, you get caught in the blackouts?

Surprisingly, no. Usually the power grid here goes down quite often. The regional utility doesn't trim or maintain line right-of-ways often enough.

File multiple complaints. Start a petition. Keep mentioning the word "liability."
