Nuts, and they are anticipating having to dig many (but not all) of them back up when families can get a proper burial together.
Why is this such an issue that they are creating mass graves? I mean, this flu season there has been an estimated death toll of 30,000 deaths in the US and we never needed to create mass graves for them, or ever had issues dealing with morgues, yet with 20,000 deaths total spread out throughout the country, at the end of flu season so those deaths aren’t as much of an issue anymore, all of the sudden they can’t handle the load of bodies? Maybe I’m not thinking straight but this sounds off to me
Jew York or not, they don’t quarantine for the flu so the death toll of elderly from the flu is still way higher than Covid there, guaranteed. It doesn’t make sense
