While I agree that truth must prevail, I think trying to create panic and get more people infected is irresponsible.
They can collect as much as evidence as they can and share all of it later. Doing it now creates panic and put more lives at risk. It's really not worth it.

I've read that not only China but many European countries have set up quarantine places and are keeping all the travellers from China in custody for a couple weeks and will later let those not infected go.
