It's in China, those houses were never meant to last.
That would have been relevant back in 2008, but 12 years later it isn't anymore.
Building regulations have been enforced since and old buildings that weren't quake-proof were destroyed and rebuilt.
I didn't know that; but I wouldn't trust any of those buildings. Maybe my sample of youtube vids was not the best, but I rarely heard of good Chinese buildings.
