AFP could not determine how the man, who appeared to be aged in his 60s, had died.
A woman standing near the man, wearing pink pyjamas and a Mao cap, said she believed he had died from the virus.
I know there's no vaccine against coronaviruses, and I also believe one has good chances to survive it with antibiotics

>Coronaviruses are a group of viruses that cause diseases in mammals and birds. In humans, the viruses cause respiratory infections which are typically mild including the common cold but rarer forms like SARS and MERS can be lethal. In cows and pigs they may cause diarrhea, while in chickens they can cause an upper respiratory disease. There are no vaccines or antiviral drugs that are approved for prevention or treatment.

>Coronaviruses are believed to cause a significant percentage of all common colds in human adults and children. Coronaviruses cause colds with major symptoms, e.g. fever, throat swollen adenoids, in humans primarily in the winter and early spring seasons.[24] Coronaviruses can cause pneumonia, either direct viral pneumonia or a secondary bacterial pneumonia and they can also cause bronchitis, either direct viral bronchitis or a secondary bacterial bronchitis.[25] The much publicized human coronavirus discovered in 2003, SARS-CoV which causes severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS), has a unique pathogenesis because it causes both upper and lower respiratory tract infections.[25]
As I understand it, it weakens/counter/disrupt your immune system, leaving you open to basic stuff that wouldn't get a pass otherwise
I heard many chinese in china, mostly among poors but not only, believe more in traditional chinese medicine than in western modern medicine; they don't believe in germs/viruses, don't really understand how that works, hence, the lack of basic hygiene in wet markets and elsewhere
I wouldn't be surprised the pandemic spread like wild fire because of that
I heard many chinese in china, mostly among poors but not only, believe more in traditional chinese medicine than in western modern medicine;
That's not accurate anymore. Modern medicine is much cheaper and efficient.
They use traditional medicine mainly for rheumatology, cold, digestive system. They know serious diseases can't be cured with it.
I've been using trad med for decades and it doesn't mess with your liver and kidneys as modern medicine does.
When you take modern medicine, your body actually absorbs only 5~10% of it and the rest is wasted by your kidneys.
I'm talking about cultural habits reported by two westerners living in china, people spit everywhere for instance, restaurants included, there's an obvious lack of understanding of basic stuffs related to germs transmission, they also do stuffs such as preparing fishes on the ground in wet markets, not washing hands, stuffs like that
