This is a consequence of the centralized police system not doing it's job. They have street shitters all over and have stopped prosecuting crimes of theft and assault - hence no longer serving and no longer protecting.

God bless these two warriors for showing others the way. Their cause will be a lesson to all those around them that the petty criminals and street shitters have a higher standing in society than those that have morals and standards. I'm sad to conclude that more of this will happen in California.

>No one was arrested or charged for attempted theft because Cornutt and Grillot never made an official report to law enforcement.

That's their mistake, they basically turned cop and judge, "self-redress"

They don't like that

Take a look around. The laws they have passed will yield no arrests because they don't prosecute these crimes. They are told NOT to file police reports on such things in California. People have given up on the system.

I know, and that's not a reason to put the rulebook against you

They should have reported, knowing cops wouldn't do shit or very little, and then do what they did

"We tried, we did everything by the book, but you weren't there!"

And quite frankly they shouldn't have bragged about it on youtube, that was unnecessary, unwanted attention

Mistake #1: Posting your shit to social media. As awesome as it is to watch local thieves get a beat down, keep it on the down low and don’t go ruining your life for internet up cummies.

Mistake #2: Not filing a report. You can’t even use the cops not doing their jobs as a defense now because you didn’t even ask them to.

This is called "direct action", and is a viable form of activism.
